Giacomo Morri (PhD & MRICS)

Giacomo Morri is Faculty Deputy and Associate Professor of Practice in Corporate Finance and Real Estate at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Real Estate Finance lecturer at Bocconi University. He was director of the Master in Real Estate, of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance and Banking and he was in charge of real estate executive education.

Following the degree in General Management at Bocconi University, he obtained his Ph.D. in Finance at University of Trieste. He was a visiting scholar in the Department of Real Estate at the University of Reading and a visiting researcher at Cass Business School, City University London. He was visiting professor at the MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI at ESSEC Business School and is currently visiting professor at ISSEG University of Lisbon.

He has published several books and articles on real estate, finance, appraisal, REITs and investment funds; he is on the editorial board of the Journal of European Real Estate Research and Territorio Italia and on several scientific and technical committees.

He is Member, Registered Valuer and Assessor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, past president, and a board member of the European Real Estate Society.

He is a freelancing advisor for several real estate companies and asset managers, and he is the non-executive director at UnipolSai Investimenti SGR. He serves in the advisory board for several real estate funds. Italian chartered accountant and statutory auditor, expert in real estate litigation and valuation.


Paolo Benedetto (MRICS)

Paolo Benedetto is Advisory & Valuation Director at Agire S.r.l. – Gruppo IPI, an Italian real estate service firm, and he is specialized in the field of real estate valuations.

Academic Fellow of Real Estate Finance at Bocconi University and Fellow Corporate Finance & Real Estate at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is member, assessor and counsellor of RICS and Registered Valuer. He is member of the Board of RICS Italy since August 2016.

He has contributed in the realization of various books, articles, and papers on the topics of real estate investment, financing, and valuation.

He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University (with exchange programs at the Schulich School of Business – York University of Toronto and at the MBA Program of the University of Western Australia of Perth).


 Federico Colantoni

Federico Colantoni holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance and a Master of Science of Finance from Bocconi University (with an exchange program at the ESADE University).Currently, he is a research assistant for the Finance Department at Bocconi University and a PhD student at St. Gallen University.

His research interests focus on Real Estate and Corporate Finance related topics.

He has worked for various companies in the private equity sector and he, now, collaborates with an M&A advisory firm.


 Fabrizio Trimarchi (MINB & MRICS)

Fabrizio Trimarchi is Managing Partner of Hotel Seeker, a consulting and brokerage firm specialized in hotel property investments.

Past Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, he has gained over twenty years of experience in the hotel sector, dealing with assessments and investments in some of the main hotel operations on the Italian market.

Besides master SDA Bocconi, Member and Registered Valuer RICS, he has obtained the Certificate in Real Estate, Development and Hotel Investment at the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University (USA), and the Postgraduate Certificate in Real Estate at the Henley Business School, University of Reading, (United Kingdom).

Senior teacher in numerous masters specialized in hospitality, real estate and tourism, where he holds courses on hotel investments.


Antonio Mazza (MBA & MRICS)

Antonio Mazza has been working for almost 30 years in the real estate market. Following a law degree in 1989, he gained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at “MIP – School of Management – Politecnico Milan”.

Antonio gained significant experiences in Brescia, Como and Milan’s law firms. Starting from 1992, he has worked for Italian and foreign banks (namely “Cariplo”, “Banca Intesa”, “Barclays Group”, “DEPFA Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG” and “Aareal Bank AG”). Since 2012, Antonio is General Manager of “Aareal Bank AG” Italy and board member of several Italian real estate companies within the “Aareal Group”.

Antonio is Teaching Fellow at SDA Bocconi School of Management and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Antonio has published extensively in national newspapers and first-tier journals and conducts reviews on real estate finance related topics.

He has been actively involved in activities aimed at promoting the knowledge of real estate finance on a pro bono basis.


Martin Hoesli (PhD & FRICS)

Martin Hoesli holds a Ph.D. in Finance and is Professor of Real Estate and Finance at the Universities of Geneva and Aberdeen and at Kedge Business School.

He has written several books and over 100 scholarly articles in real estate. He is a Past President of the International Real Estate Society and of the European Real Estate Society and a board member of the Swiss Financial Analyst Association.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate and Land Economics.

He has been a visiting scholar at many Universities worldwide and is on the editorial board of many international real estate journals.

Alessandro P. Scarso is tenured Professor of Civil Law at Bocconi University, Milan, and has taught at a plurality of both Italian and foreign universities (such as ESADE Barcelona, Freie Universität Berlin, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Uniwersytet Jagielloński W Krakowie, The Catholic University of America – Washington D.C., and Universität Zürich). He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and is the author, co-author, editor and co-editor of several books, articles, and notes, published both in Italy and abroad.

Alessandro has extensive experience in both the litigation and commercial aspects of corporate law as well as bankruptcies, receiverships, work-outs and enforcement of creditors’ rights and remedies.

He is qualified both as an “Avvocato” and as a Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista and Revisore contabile) in Italy, and is admitted to the bar as a “Avvocato” at the Chambers of Lawyers of Frankfurt am Main.
