The 22th European Real Estate Society Conference (to be held on the June 24-27, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey) promises an impressive venue next to central district of Istanbul, a broad range of topics pertaining to global real estate issues and a diverse audience comprising of academics and practitioners from Europe and around the world. Istanbul, one of the largest cities in the world, once the focal point of the worldwide trading, and capital city for Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman Empires, has been in transition throughout its more than four thousand years of history. Istanbul as the conference city provides an excellent venue for the conference themes with its massive expansion and transformation processes throughout its history to explore different aspects of real estate not only for Istanbul but also across the world. We hope that the ERES 2015 Istanbul Conference will contribute to discussing and giving feedback to real estate issues.

L’architettura è stata definita come “l’arte di dare forma e realizzare spazi fruibili per le necessità dell’uomo” (Treccani). Nel tempo, il concetto di architettura si è progressivamente ampliato, diventando l’arte di ideare e progettare opere dell’uomo, non solo nell’edilizia, ma anche nell’ambito dell’arredamento e del paesaggio, fino ad estendersi a temi gestionali, come nei processi, nell’organizzazione aziendale e nella strutturazione finanziaria degli investimenti.

Durante il workshop si approfondirà il ruolo dell’”architettura” in un’operazione immobiliare, sia nel sostegno economico/finanziario per la ricerca del capitale al minor costo – architettura finanziaria -, sia per il successo commerciale dell’operazione, in gran parte basato sull’alleanza tra architettura e marketing.
